On the west portion of France, just a short distance away from the coast of the Atlantic, lies the metropolitan city of Nantes. It is located on the region of Pays de la Loire in the historical place of Britanny. Nantes sits on the Loire riverbanks with the Atlantic Ocean nearby. It is a mini-commercial center located in the city’s central area. It was named after Louis Pommeraye, the man who made the passage. The said shopping mall displays a strong influence of French architecture. Most recently, on the birth of the new millennium, the Palais de Justice was built and designed by Jean Nouvel.

The pioneer of sci-fi writing or scientific fiction writing Jules Verne holds a museum too. Visitors from all over the world ponder on his genius while touring the museum and his ancestral home. In addition, Nantes also has Musee des Beaux, which is a museum for the arts.

There is also a well-sculpted tower structure that served as the previous entrance of a biscuit factory called Lefevre-Utile. The breathtaking tower is by the way called Lu tower or La Tour LU.
